    Why Award Professor Oussouby Sacko?

Having been in Japan for more than 25 years, Professor Sacko has been playing a tremendous role in bringing the Japanese and African communities together. We recognize his effective efforts, outstanding leadership, and professional services for Africa and Japan’s socio-economic ties. Africa Diaspora Network Japan has chosen Professor Sacko to encourage more people to take action that contributes to strengthening Japan Africa’s relationships. We admire his humility and commitment despite his busy schedule for which we are very grateful.
