The ADNJ Award is a yearly recognition of the African Diaspora Network Japan to specifically distinguish people playing an important role for Africa, and Africa-Japan socio economic development ties. This Award aims to encourage people making effective efforts to bring Japanese and African together as one community through their outstanding leadership, activities and professional services.

Why Award Professor Oussouby Sacko?
Having been in Japan for more than 25 years, Professor Sacko has been playing a tremendous role in bringing the Japanese and African communities together. We recognize his effective efforts, outstanding leadership, and professional services for Africa and Japan’s socio-economic ties. Africa Diaspora Network Japan has chosen Professor Sacko to encourage more people to take action that contributes to strengthening Japan Africa’s relationships. We admire his humility and commitment despite his busy schedule for which we are very grateful.
