Biography

Pius is a young African Fashion designer with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies at Kwansei Gakuin University in Japan. Currently, He works at J AND W TRADING CO., LTD. in Kobe. On the other hand, Pius has a great passion for the positive awareness of Africa in Japan as a whole. He has demonstrated this through organizing several African cultural events in the Kansai region since he came to Japan. From 2019, Pius moved into the world of modeling, representing Africa as a “Sapuer Model” on many occasions in Japan, such as the Kansai Dandy Collection in Osaka (2019), Afrika Meets Kansai (2019, 2020, and 2021) annual event in Kobe Japan and the 2021 Kobe African Party events respectively. This shift inspired him to start a clothing Brand (Mwambale African Fashions) to spread the colorful designs in Japan. Throughout this experience of working with both Japanese and the different African societies, Pius wants to continue spreading the unique African culture through fashion, sports, and several cultural events while at the ADNJ.
